India : Rescuers found no more survivors in the overturned and mangled wreckage of two passenger trains that derailed in eastern India, killing more than 280 people and injuring hundreds in one of the country’s deadliest rail crashes in decades, officials said Saturday. Firefighters rushed on Friday to battle a fire at a dump site for used tyres in Al Salmi area near Kuwait’s Al Jahra governorate. Five firefighting squads were taking part in putting out the blaze at the site, which covers 3,000 square metres, the Kuwait Fire Force said in a statement. The department said that more details would be announced later.
