Riyadh : The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states condemned the Iranian attack on the Saudi tanker Wadiyan and the Qatari tanker Al Rekayyat while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, as well as the repeated Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait. ‏New York : The United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) has agreed on new recommendations amending the United Nations Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration to address the enforcement and use of electronic arbitration awards and related notices. Kuwait : The General Staff of the Kuwait Army announced on Thursday morning that Kuwait’s air defence systems had been engaged by hostile drones and missiles. In a statement, the Kuwaiti General Staff said the blasts, heard in some parts of the country, resulted from midair interceptions.
