Manama : Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, chaired the meeting of permanent representatives and senior officials of Arab countries  ahead of the preparatory meeting of the Arab Ministers of Foreign Affairs before the 33rd Arab Summit.  Ambassador Hossam Zaki, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League and Head of the Office of the Secretary-General, attended the meeting. Manama : The General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior announced traffic arrangements for the 33rd Arab Summit. The arrangements include temporary traffic diversions on some roads for specific periods on Wednesday and Thursday, May 15 and 16. The directorate said that during the morning and evening periods of Wednesday, May 15, traffic will be regulated on the streets from the Bahrain International Airport intersection up to the Seef District. Manama : The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) resolution, regarding Palestine’s right to obtain full membership in the United Nations. The resolution adopted by majority vote of 143 also recommended that the Security Council reconsider the matter favourably. It also grants Palestine additional rights and privileges related to its status in the international organisation. Kuwait : His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, issued an Amiri Order on Friday to dissolve the National Assembly and suspend some articles of the Constitution for a period not exceeding four years.
