Manama : The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) announced the implementation of 530 inspection campaigns and visits, during the period of December 28, 2025, to January 3, which resulted in the detention of 9 violating and irregular workers, while 97 violators were deported. The inspection campaigns and visits also resulted in monitoring several violations related to the provisions of a number of regulating laws, especially the LMRA and the Residency Laws in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that legal measures were taken regarding the observed violations. Athens : Greece’s civil aviation authority announced that a technical malfunction in the navigation system caused air traffic to come to a standstill at Athens International Airport and other Greek airports. Athens airport confirmed the temporary suspension of all arriving and departing flights, while the transport ministry said the fault affected Flight Information Region frequencies, prompting the issuance of a notice to airmen and the restriction of air traffic to partial operations only for safety reasons, pending the completion of ongoing investigations.
