Manama : Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, announced that construction work on the third phase of the East Sitra Social Housing Project has reached 23% completion. Infrastructure works stand at 29%, while 16% of the 1,269 housing units have been built. Manama : The Interior Ministry’s show jumping team won first place in the Grand Prix of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) Showjumping Championship. Dubai : The Kingdom of Bahrain delegation continued its strong showing at the Asian Youth Para Games in the United Arab Emirates from December 7-14, achieving a notable milestone by winning three medals in the first continental appearance for several of its athletes. Washington : US President Donald Trump signed an executive order preventing individual US states from adopting their own regulations on artificial intelligence, warning that differing state rules risk creating regulatory gridlock as the United States competes with China for technological leadership.
