Manama : Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, chaired a meeting between the Ministers of Commerce of GCC member states and Chris Bryant, UK Minister for Trade. The meeting was held via videoconference on the sidelines of the Industrial and Commercial Cooperation Committee meetings of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), chaired by the Kingdom of Bahrain. Amman : The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan affirmed its support for the sovereign measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leadership to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan expressed absolute support and solidarity with Bahrain. It affirmed Amman’s backing for all steps and measures taken to protect the Gulf nation’s sovereignty, security, and stability, maintain safety of its citizens and residents, and deter interference in its internal affairs.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its full backing of Bahrain in all actions it undertakes to address any threats to its security and stability and to deter any attempts to undermine its sovereignty or interfere in its internal affairs.
