Manama : Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, received Shaikh Aiman bin Ahmad bin Sultan Al Hosani, Chairman of the Board of Oman National Engineering and Investment Company (ONEIC), during his participation in FinTech Forward 2026, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain with the participation of officials, experts and specialists in fintech and financial services.
The meeting was attended by Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB).
The Minister of Finance highlighted the longstanding relations and strong ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman across various sectors. The minister noted the shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic and investment sectors, and creating new and high-quality opportunities that enable the private sector in both countries to benefit from opportunities available across GCC markets.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted Bahrain’s attractive and business-friendly investment environment, as well as its strengths and supportive legislative and regulatory framework, which contribute to attracting investment and expanding partnerships with regional and international companies and institutions.
