Thailand plans to allow some foreign travellers into the country starting next week, as it eases restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, a senior official said on Wednesday. The French government is sending medics and aid to the South American territory of French Guiana amid a surge in virus infections there. The French military has ferried patients from Guiana, which borders Brazil, to hospitals in the French Caribbean island of Martinique. Bahrain has announced the death of a 75-year-old male citizen from coronavirus, the total death toll reached 68. The MOH expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased.
