Manama: The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has called upon the public to use the electronic platforms for fast processing of applications and avoid long periods to get appointments. The call was made after an increase in the number of applications submitted via service centres that pressure the appointment system because of the limited number of applicants the centres could receive. The NPRA reminded the public that it had informed the concerned authorities to accept the residency permit certificate to process their applications, while the permit sticker would be kept on expatriates’ passports by the NPRA employees while departing the country.
