Manama :: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today visited Lulu Hypermarket branches to ensure the availability of essential goods and services and the smooth flow of supply chains in all supermarkets across the Kingdom.
The visits form part of the ongoing monitoring of regional developments in light of the hostile Iranian attacks and are in line with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s steadfast approach to safeguarding national stability and strengthening the Kingdom’s security under all circumstances.

During the visits, His Royal Highness reviewed product availability and underscored that safeguarding market stability and the seamless flow of imports and distribution remains a national priority. His Royal Highness noted that these efforts bolster confidence among citizens and residents in the uninterrupted availability of essential goods and services.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister underscored the importance of coordination between relevant authorities and the private sector to ensure food security and economic stability.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad commended the vital role played by the private sector in supporting the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, as well as the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in monitoring markets, enhancing oversight, and maintaining coordination to ensure the availability of goods.
His Royal Highness further affirmed the government’s commitment to implement all precautions to safeguard supply chain and market stability, reflecting the Kingdom’s preparedness to confidently address any developments.

For his part, His Excellency Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, noted that the Ministry has intensified its monitoring and coordination efforts in cooperation with public and private sector partners to ensure the availability and stability of essential goods in the markets.
His Excellency added that working teams continue to closely monitor stock levels and distribution to safeguard market stability and protect consumer rights amid current regional developments.

His Royal Highness was accompanied by His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and His Excellency Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce.
