Manama : A grand gala Diwali Function was organized by Bharathi Association in coordination with Starvision Events on October 17th at Golden Eagle Club . The Humorous debate session Called “Pattimandram” organised by well known speakers from Tamil Nadu. more than thousands of audience enjoyed the night with full of humorous, dance and music.
BATHURUDEEN ABDUL MAJEED , a Tamil Language Enthusiast and a well known Businessman in Gulf Region graced the event as a chief guest.
The event was inuagurated with a vibrant traditional dance performance choreographed by Nrityakalaratna Hansul Gani, featuring talented children of the Association’s members showcased the richness of Tamil culture and set the tone for an evening of unity, joy, and cultural pride.
The Speaker Kavingar Iniyavan and Professor Doctor Vijayakumar stole the show alongwith other talented local speakers who performed extremely well.
A key highlight of the evening will be a Pattimandram, a traditional Tamil debate format known for its blend of intellect, humor, and cultural richness.
The lively session will be moderated by Dindigul Leoni, a celebrated Tamil orator and humorist widely admired across the Tamil-speaking diaspora for his wit, irony, and tongue-in-cheek commentary. Debate show bombarded with non stop laughter. The audience enjoyed the show till the end of the program.
Extremely impressive debates was held on the topic of “Tamil Cinema: Are Old Films Superior to New Films?” Kavingar Iniyavan will lead the team advocating for new films, joined by Shahul Haja and Shobana Siva, along with Professor Dr. Vijayakumar ,supported by Bhavani Premanand and Ponsankara Pandian. Both lead speakers are distinguished orators who have earned global recognition for their eloquence and stage presence.
Through this celebration, the Bharathi Association continues to uphold its mission of promoting Indian culture, fostering community bonds, and providing a platform for cultural exchange in Bahrain.
