Manama : Following the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to open, renovate, and restore 40 mosques under the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Directorates across the Kingdom of Bahrain, Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, inaugurated Mariam Mosque in North Riffa.
Al Hajeri highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to mosque development, commending the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The three story mosque, accommodating 260 worshippers, includes a men’s prayer hall, a women’s prayer hall, ablution facilities, and parking spaces.
