Manama : Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, visited the new headquarters of the Capital Trustees Council in Tubli, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the governorate and the council, and to explore means to support development and service efforts in a manner that enhances the level of services provided to residents and meets their aspirations.
Shaikh Khalid bin Humood was received by Saleh Taher Tarada, Chairman of the Capital Trustees Council, and Dr. Khulood Rashid Al Qattan, Vice Chairman of the Council.
The Capital Governor toured the facilities and offices of the new headquarters, where he was briefed on the working environment and the resources available to support the council’s work and enhance its role in serving the community.

He also held a meeting with the Chairman and members of the Capital Trustees Council, during which existing cooperation between the two sides was reviewed, and mechanisms to strengthen joint coordination on various municipal and service-related matters were discussed, along with initiatives and projects that contribute to supporting development in the Capital Governorate and improving the quality of services provided to citizens and residents.
Shaikh Khalid bin Humood underlined the importance of continuing teamwork among all relevant entities, enhancing responsiveness to residents’ needs and reinforcing the principle of effective institutional partnership. He affirmed that integration of efforts between the governorate and the council are key in achieving development goals and keeping pace with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s rapid development.
For his part, the Chairman of the Capital Trustees Council expressed appreciation to the Governor for the visit, noting that it reflects the depth of partnership and cooperation between the governorate and the council, and contributes to unifying efforts to achieve development and service objectives in line with the royal directives and the continued support of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
