In 2024, BRAVE CF debuted in the Netherlands and Bulgaria, including two events in the Netherlands, which reignited interest in MMA within the nation’s renowned kickboxing community. Slovenia also hosted two events, with BRAVE CF 88 featuring two World Title fights. Most recently, BRAVE CF 89 in Spain showcased the first-ever World Title fight on Spanish soil. With BRAVE CF 90 in Austria, the organisation is set to conclude a historic year in Europe, featuring a fight card with elite talent from around the globe.
Mohammed Shahid, President of BRAVE CF, expressed his excitement about the milestone: “Our debut in Austria represents a monumental achievement for BRAVE Combat Federation as we expand our global presence to the 35th country. This event not only highlights our commitment to mixed martial arts but also reinforces our mission to elevate the sport across Europe and beyond.”
Organised in collaboration with leading Austrian promotion Sparta CF, BRAVE CF 90 is set to be the most significant MMA event in Austrian history. The event aims to position MMA as the new national sport in Austria, mirroring the impact BRAVE CF has had in countries such as Slovenia and Serbia.
