Manama : Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, signed the 1446 AH Hajj arrangements agreement with Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah.
The agreement is within the framework of the final preparations for this year’s season. Bahrain’s quota for this year is 4,625 pilgrims.
The agreement was signed during Al Maawda’s participation in the 4th Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah, held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
The event, attended by over 300 local and international entities, showcased innovative solutions for enhancing the Hajj and Umrah experience.
Al Maawda commended the efforts of the Saudi leadership in developing services for pilgrims, ensuring their comfort and safety, and commended the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for organising the conference.
