Paris : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met with His Excellency President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic at the Élysée Palace in Paris as part of His Majesty’s visit to France at the invitation of the French President.
Upon arrival at the Élysée Palace, His Majesty was received with an official welcome ceremony, with His Excellency President Macron leading the reception and welcoming His Majesty to France.

At the onset of the meeting, His Majesty expressed his thanks to His Excellency President Macron for the invitation and for the warm reception. His Majesty also commended His Excellency’s efforts to strengthen the distinguished bilateral relations between Bahrain and France to further development and prosperity.
The two leaders reviewed the close partnership and cooperation between the two nations, and discussed means to enhance collaboration across various domains.

Both leaders expressed pride in the strong, historic relations between Bahrain and France. They affirmed their commitment to broadening cooperation to achieve mutual interests and benefits.
His Majesty underscored the deep-rooted and longstanding relations between Bahrain and France, noting the significant growth in various fields under the leadership of both nations.
The meeting also addressed regional and international developments.

On his part, His Excellency President Macron praised His Majesty’s role in strengthening Bahrain-France ties and commended Bahrain’s continued cooperation and efforts to achieve security and stability in the region.
