Manama : The Bahrain National Museum is displaying the “Document of Thanks and Loyalty”, bearing the signatures of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Their Highnesses the sons of His Majesty the King. The document is addressed, on behalf of His Majesty and Their Highnesses his sons, to the citizens of Bahrain in recognition of their honourable patriotic stances and in appreciation of the sincerity, loyalty, and sense of belonging they have demonstrated towards their nation.
Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), said: “We draw inspiration from the wise approach of His Majesty the King, which is founded on recognising and appreciating the honourable patriotic stances demonstrated by the people of Bahrain, particularly during the Iranian aggression, which reaffirmed the steadfastness of the Bahraini people and the depth of their loyalty to their nation and leadership.
This document embodies the values of mutual loyalty between the leadership and the people, while documenting a distinguished chapter in Bahrain’s history of national unity, which has long been one of the foundations of Bahrain’s development and progress. Hosting this document at the Bahrain National Museum is consistent with the museum’s mission to preserve the national memory and safeguard artefacts and records that reflect the Kingdom’s history and enduring values, making them accessible to present and future generations as part of a national legacy in which we all take pride.”
The document reflects the strong bonds between the leadership and the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain and affirms the values of loyalty, belonging, and pride in the Kingdom’s enduring principles. It embodies the spirit of national unity that has long formed the foundation of Bahrain’s development. ts content also draws inspiration from the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in fostering a spirit of responsibility and collective action to continue the Kingdom’s path of development, progress, and prosperity.
Visitors to the Bahrain National Museum can view the document and learn more about its contents, including His Majesty the King’s words expressing his affection for and pride in the citizens of Bahrain, as well as his continued commitment to strengthening national cohesion and unity among the people.
The Bahrain National Museum welcomes visitors daily from 9 AM to 6 PM and is closed on Tuesdays.
