Bahrain : Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received in his office at the ministry today, the United Nations Development Coordination Office Regional Director HE. Laila Baker, on her official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Nations and means to boost bilateral cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UN in various development fields to achieve common goals They also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Political Affairs, HE. Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Chief of Human Rights Affairs, HE. Ambassador Dr. Arwa Al Sayed, and the Acting Chief of Organizations, HE. Ambassador Shaikha Aysha Ahmed Saqer Al khalifa.
