Manama : Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, visited the “Muharraq Nights” festival, in its third edition.
The minister was accompanied by Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information; Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA); and Shaikh Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Director General of Policies and Coordination at the Prime Minister’s Office.

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the successful collaboration between government bodies and the private sector in organising the festival, describing it as a prime example of collective efforts to enhance Bahrain’s cultural appeal.
The minister emphasised the festival’s role as a platform for promoting Bahrain’s rich cultural heritage and historical legacy, held along the historic Pearling Path, the festival has enhanced the Kingdom’s position as a leading cultural and tourism destination both regionally and internationally, while raising awareness of its national heritage sites.

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa commended BACA and the Ministry of Tourism for their role in organising the event. He also recognised the vital contribution of the private sector to the success of the “Bahrain Celebrations” season, which has significantly promoted tourism and entertainment activities across the Kingdom.
The festival drew large crowds of citizens, residents, and visitors, demonstrating its ability to engage a diverse audience while further enriching Bahrain’s cultural and economic landscape.
