Manama : Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, inaugurated the Bahrain Investors Centre following the completion of its redevelopment at Bahrain Financial Harbour. The ceremony was attended by Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, along with senior officials.
The Minister also reviewed the updates made to the Saudi Investors Centre and inaugurated the newly established UAE Investors Centre, as part of Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to enhance its business environment and deliver advanced investment services.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa emphasised that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain continues to implement comprehensive development plans aimed at strengthening its position as a leading investment destination in the region.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa also underscored the importance of strategic initiatives that attract investment and enhance the business climate, contributing to national development and economic growth.
The Minister emphasised the role of investment centres in improving the quality of services and supporting a more efficient and competitive investment environment. He highlighted that simplifying procedures and accelerating service delivery improves investor satisfaction and facilitates business operations, reflecting Bahrain’s commitment to adopting best practices.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa commended the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, noting the ongoing cooperation and coordination, particularly in the economic, financial, and investment sectors. He underscored Bahrain’s commitment to expanding global partnerships to achieve shared goals.
On his part, Fakhro noted that the redevelopment of the Bahrain Investors Centre, the upgrade of the Saudi Investors Centre, and the launch of the UAE Investors Centre reflect Bahrain’s dedication to enhancing the investor experience and creating an attractive and efficient investment climate. He added that these initiatives also support procedural efficiency and innovation in line with national economic objectives.
The three upgraded centres are part of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce’s broader development plan to improve the quality of investment services. The Bahrain Investors Centre has been redesigned to better meet the expectations of local investors, featuring improved layout and service efficiency to streamline procedures and enhance the user experience.
