Manama : Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain; and Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD).
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, describing them as a model of strategic cooperation and partnership across various domains. He attributed this to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The minister also acknowledged the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, in advancing Bahraini-Saudi relations towards broader and more comprehensive levels across all sectors, to meet the aspirations of both nations.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa reviewed the current state of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the financial and economic sectors, and noted Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support for Bahrain’s development projects, reflecting the strong contributions to progress across all development tracks.
The minister further underlined the importance of building on the achievements of bilateral relations and advancing cooperation and joint action towards greater integration that serves shared goals and aspirations.
