Bahrain MOH announced the death of a 88-year-old male Bahraini national, a registered active case of coronavirus (COVID-19) suffering from underlying and chronic health problems, taking the country’s total deaths to 17.
It is the second death in 1 hour.
The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time.
The patient, along with all other active COVID-19 cases, had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team.
