New Delhi : India’s complex mission to evacuate its citizens and Afghan partners from Kabul after its swift takeover by the Taliban last week has been named as “Operation Devi Shakti”. The name of the operation was known when External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar mentioned it in a tweet on Tuesday while referring to the arrival of a fresh batch of 78 evacuees in Delhi. “Op Devi Shakti continues. 78 evacuees from Kabul arrive via Dushanbe. Bahrain : Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, today received employee, Information Minister , who presented him a copy of the master’s degree thesis in Business Administration, on the impact of online financial disclosure on the performance of Islamic banks, she had obtained from the Al-Ahlia University. Bahrain : Registration for in-person public school attendance is now open for all students, the Ministry of Education has said. Under the system, students will attend classes physically two or three days a week while learning in the remaining days will be online, the ministry said in a statement. Students who will be studying online the five days of the week do not have to register, as all students who do not sign up for in-person attendance will be automatically regarded as full online students, the statement said.
