Kuwait : A 3.1-magnitude earthquake occurred north east of Kuwait, said the Kuwait National Seismic Network (KNSN) on Saturday. In a statement, KNSN said that the quake happened at 3:18 a.m. local-time in Kuwait at a depth of seven kilometers. The KNSN is an entity affiliated with the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR), said KUNA.

The Indian Community Relief Fund (“ICRF”) Thirst-Quenchers 2021 team continue to distribute bottled water, fruits and sweets to the workers.   Today’s distribution was held at a work site in Riffa area for around 80 workers.  This is the 11th week and the program is supported by Bohra community in Bahrain.   They also provided a well packed Biriyani (lunch) in steel carriage to all the workers today. Top general Frank McKenzie admits US had made a “mistake” when it launched a drone strike against suspected Daesh militants in Afghan capital Kabul on August 29, confirming it killed 10 civilians instead.
