The UAE’s rail project will expand to include passenger train services running across the country, the UAE’s leaders said on Sunday in a major announcement. Etihad Rail’s network will grow from running heavy goods services to carry millions of passengers between its major cities by 2030, the government said. Bahrain : A total of 680 Bahrain job seekers holding various qualifications had been employed in 452 private companies and institutions from November 28 to December 4, the Labor and Social Development Ministry has revealed, adding that 434 had benefited from various training programs during the same period. Cape Town : Precursors of the recently discovered Omicron coronavirus variant are likely to have existed for a very long time, according to their co-discoverer, who hails from Germany. “According to current knowledge, an early form of Omicron evolved as a separate virus type even before Alpha and Delta emerged,” Wolfgang Preiser of Stellenbosch University near Cape Town told. Bahrain : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Decree 118 of 2021, appointing Shaikh Abdulla bin Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Khalifa as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE).
