The Omani MOH has announced 292 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), taking the total cases in the sultanate to 5,671. Most of the newly admitted cases are from non-Omanis, which is 173 and the rest 119 from Omanis, according to the Ministry of Health. MOH has confirmed the death of a 57-year-old foreign resident with coronavirus, raising the total death toll in the Sultanate to 26. 78 new recoveries from coronavirus have been reported in the sultanate, increasing the number of recoveries to 1,574.

The Dubai Police have arrested a young man over a video that he posted on social media in which he can be seen insulting the UAE’s national currency, according to Gulf News.
