Changsha : : Nine people had been confirmed dead and 26 others injured, after an explosion broke out Monday morning at a fireworks factory in central China, according to the on-site rescue headquarters. The explosion occurred in Linli County, Hunan Province. An all-out search and rescue operation is currently underway, and an investigation team has been formed to determine the cause of the accident.

Bangkok : The Kingdom of Thailand’s cabinet has approved a $1.2 billion bid to host a Formula One race in Bangkok in 2028. Government spokesperson Jirayu Houngsub said at a press conference that, if successful, the capital would secure a contract to host a race annually from 2028 to 2032. Manama : Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), met with Steven C. Bondy, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Manama : The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) conducted 1,206 inspection campaigns and visits during the first half of June 2025, resulting in the detention of 18 violating workers and the deportation of 218 individuals for breaches of residency and labour laws in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The LMRA stated that these campaigns included 1,189 inspection visits to commercial establishments across the Kingdom’s governorates, in addition to 17 joint campaigns with relevant government bodies.
