Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will tomorrow depart for Saudi Arabia to lead the kingdom’s delegation to the 32nd Arab Summit in Jeddah, the Royal Court announced in a statement. HM King Hamad is participating in Arab Summit at the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
Doha : Bahrain participated in the in the 4th Government Forum to Combat Trafficking in Persons in the Middle East that took place here. The Bahrain delegation included representatives from the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons (NCCTIPs), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), the Public Prosecution, Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and Ministry of Interior. Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, were not injured during what they described as a “near-catastrophic car chase” through New York, the city’s police department said on Wednesday. The incident occurred after the couple attended an awards ceremony in New York on Tuesday night, during which the Duchess of Sussex received a Woman of Vision award. “This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD [New York Police Department] officers,” a representative for the couple said. Manama : Incumbent Bahrain Table Tennis Association (BTTA) Chairperson Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa has been reelected uncontested for a new term. Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz expressed her gratitude for the trust bestowed upon her by BTTA General Assembly. 7 out of the 13 candidates who ran for the election, won BTTA board membership. Manama :The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the storming and ransacking of the Jordanian Embassy and the residence of the head of the military office at the Kuwaiti embassy in Khartoum. Manama : Nine infrastructure projects worth BD11,293,,119 were awarded last month, said Works Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Mishal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa. Abu Dhabi : The Foo Fighters will play the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023 race day concert on November 26 at Etihad Park. The performance by the American rock group will be the last of four after race concerts beginning from November 23. Kicking off the series will be Dutch DJ Tiesto and US pop star Ava Max with the remaining two concerts on November 24 and 25 to be revealed closer to the date.
