Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will welcome His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, King of Malaysia, upon his arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain tomorrow, Thursday, on a state visit to discuss the longstanding relations between the two countries. Manila : One person was killed when Typhoon Kalmaegi hit the central Philippines on Tuesday, the national disaster agency said, as torrential rains, strong winds and storm surges forced tens of thousands to evacuate from their homes. Manama, Nov. 4 (BNA): Bahrain claimed third place overall in the 6th West Asian Bodybuilding Championship, organized by the Bahrain Bodybuilding Federation (BBF) with the participation of 230 athletes representing seven countries. Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (68) of 2025, appointing a Director at the Electricity and Water Authority, based on a proposal by the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs. Article (I) Fatima Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Khan is appointed as Director of the Communications Directorate at the Electricity and Water Authority. Article (II) The Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs shall implement the provisions of this Edict and shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.

Article (I) Hashim Shubbar Hilal Al Wadaei shall be appointed Director of the Business Services Directorate at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. Beijing : China launched a new remote sensing satellite from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in the southern island province of Hainan. The Yaogan-46 satellite was launched at 11:47 a.m. (Beijing Time) aboard a modified Long March-7 carrier rocket, Xinhua reported. It has entered the preset orbit successfully. It will be primarily used in disaster prevention and relief, land resource surveys, hydrology, meteorology, and other related fields. The launch was the 605th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
