Bratislava : The children of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, achieved distinguished results at the Samorin International Endurance Race, held in the Slovak Republic.

Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa won first place in the 100km international race for the junior and youth category, while His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa won first place in the 120km international race for the junior and youth category.
The horse of His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa did not pass the veterinary inspection in the 120km international race for the open category after the third stage.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad also participated in the 160km international race, but did not finish due to an injury.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad confirmed that participation in the Samorin International Race was positive and achieved many of the objectives set by the team as part of its preparatory programme. His Highness noted that the riders’ results reflect the amount of work carried out over the past period and represent an important step in their preparation for upcoming events, foremost among which is the World Junior and Senior Endurance Championships to be held next year, alongside continuing to build their experience in international competitions.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the strong performances of the Royal Endurance Team riders throughout the race in all categories, commending their high spirit and great dedication throughout the competition, and emphasised that these results reflect the advanced standing of Bahraini endurance sport, wishing all riders success in upcoming championships and continued achievements.
