Manama : Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) will hold the silver jubilee celebration of its establishment and Bahraini Women’s Day 2026.
Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of SCW, expressed appreciation for the patronage of this important national occasion. Her Royal Highness was pleased to participate in national events that recall the achievements of His Majesty the King, and noted the designation of this year as “Year of Isa Al Kabeer” in honour of the founder of the modern state and leader of institutional development, which coincides with the council entering its silver jubilee stage, reflecting the Kingdom’s continued approach to building a modern nation under His Majesty’s leadership.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim added that marking these national occasions reflects the recognition of the progress of Bahraini women, which began under His Majesty’s national development project, and with the clear support of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim addressed Bahraini women, noting that the achievements attained to date reflect their determination, perseverance, and belief in the importance of contributing to nation-building, as well as recognition of their national role in the comprehensive development process. Her Royal Highness said that the future presents broader opportunities and greater responsibilities, requiring increased effort, excellence, and confidence in both themselves and their nation, and called on them to continue as they have consistently been: partners in decision-making, voices of wisdom, and symbols of giving.
