Manila : A tropical storm lashed the northern and central Philippines over the weekend, killing seven people after forcing more than 22,000 people to evacuate from flood- and landslide-prone villages. Tropical Storm Fengshen blew away from the main northern Philippine region of Luzon into the South China Sea late Sunday. Beijing : China’s fiscal revenue edged up 0.5 percent year on year to 16.39 trillion yuan (about 2.31 trillion U.S. dollars) in the first nine months of 2025, according to data released by the Ministry of Finance on Friday. Dhaka : Flights resumed at Bangladesh’s main airport in Dhaka, airport officials said, six hours after a fire in the cargo section delayed flights and halted operations on Saturday.
