London : Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, today met Kitack Lim, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), on the sidelines of his participation in the 33rd regular session of the IMO Assembly, held in London. The two sides discussed areas of cooperation between the kingdom and IMO in the fields of safety, marine environment, and qualification of national cadres in the maritime navigation sector.

Dubai : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, participated in the opening session of the summit of the twenty-eighth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which was held at Expo City Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
