The Ministry of Health and Prevention confirmed 283 new novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the overall number of people who tested positive in the UAE to 2359. In a statement posted on the UAE news agency (WAM), the ministry said that the infected people, who are from different nationalities, were detected among those who contacted previous cases, adding that they are all in stable condition. The ministry announced in its statement the death of an Asian expatriate who was suffering from chronic diseases, bringing the overall number of pandemic fatalities to 12.

Kuwait today confirmed 78 new novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases over the past 24 hours. , bringing the overall number of infected peoples to 743. Health Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 23 patients were in intensive care, including 17 stable cases and 6 in critical condition. Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 673 patients, while  911 individuals have completed quarantine. One death has been .reported so far Regarding those infected.

The Ministry of Health has produced a guide in different languages on how to make face masks at home. The videos can be found on the Ministry’s youtube channel. In a press conference conducted by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the National Taskforce, it was announced that all citizens and residents will be required to wear face masks in public. Bahrain tested a total of 50320 until now. There are 341 active cases. These include 338 stable cases and 3 critical cases. 465 people have been discharged. Only 5 death has been reported until now. The Ministry of Health has today announced the death of a 70-year-old male Bahraini national, a registered active case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) who was suffering from underlying and chronic health problems. The deceased male was placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team. The Ministry highlighted that, excluding three cases, all other active COVID-19 cases remain stable and all patients continue to receive treatment from a specialised medical team following guidelines provided by the World Health Organization (WHO). The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time.

German football league (DFL) chief executive Christian Seifert says the Bundesliga “will be ready” should it be given the chance to play matches behind closed doors amid the coronavirus outbreak. But speaking to Die Zeit weekly newspaper, Seifert admitted the intended goal of finishing the season by June 30 was not in the hands of the league.
