Phnom Penh : Thailand and Cambodia announced that they have agreed on an immediate ceasefire following weeks of fierce border clashes between the two countries. In a joint statement issued by the General Border Committee, the two sides said the ceasefire would take effect from 12:00 noon local time and would cover all types of weapons, as well as civilian and military targets, across all areas. Thailand’s state television reported that Thai Defence Minister Natthaphon Narkphanit and his Cambodian counterpart Tea Seiha signed the joint statement confirming the ceasefire agreement.

Manama : Bahrain has been ranked second regionally and 15th globally among 197 countries on the World Bank Group’s 2025 GovTech Maturity Index (GTMI), a milestone achievement. The report classified Bahrain in Category A among countries with a “very high digital maturity”. Bristol : A pair of explosions and a fire, apparently sparked by leaking gas, ripped through a nursing home near Philadelphia on Tuesday, killing at least two people and prompting an intense search for victims in a collapsed portion of the building. Galveston : A small Mexican Navy plane transporting a young medical patient and seven others crashed Monday near Galveston, killing at least five people. Four of the people aboard were Navy officers, and four were civilians, including a child. Two of the passengers were from a nonprofit that provides aid to Mexican children with severe burns, including transport to a Galveston hospital. U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Luke Baker said at least five aboard had died. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
