Manama : In a remarkable display of expertise and teamwork, Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital successfully performed a retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) to remove a pelvi- ureteric junction stone from a 35-year-old Indian patient. Led by consultant urologist Dr. Vishal, the procedure involved the extraction of 9.5-millimeter stone from the left Pelviureteric junction (PUJ). RIRS, a minimally invasive endoscopic procedure, enables surgeons to access the kidney via the ureter utilizing a flexible ureteroscope. Moscow, : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today His Excellency Mr. Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic, on the sidelines of HM the King’s official visit to the Russian Federation. HM the King praised the advanced level of cooperation between the two countries, affirming the kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening relations in various domains. Iowa : Multiple people were killed when a tornado tore through a small town in Iowa and left a wide swath of obliterated homes and crumpled cars, while the howling winds also twisted and toppled wind turbines. Doha : Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour, participated in the Doha Dialogue on Labour Mobility between Gulf and African Countries, held in Qatar on May 21-22. Relatives of the military and civilian staff and retirees of the BDF and the National Guard are eligible to register.
