Kuwait : The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) participated in the 100th Executive Board Meeting of the GCC National Olympic Committee Presidents, held in Kuwait. New York : Jordan and the Republic of Burundi signed a joint statement to establish diplomatic relations to strengthen friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries and institutionalise cooperation in political, economic, social, cultural and scientific scopes. The statement was signed on behalf of the two countries’ governments by the Permanent Representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Mahmoud Hamoud and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Burundi, Ambassador Zephyrin Maniratanga, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

Manama : Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, Chief Executive of the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), stated that the recently launched MyGov app on the eGovernment App Store (bahrain.bh/apps) marks the initial phase of the government’s plan to consolidate digital services.  The initiative focuses on merging existing government applications into three primary platforms:  “MyGov” for individuals, “AlTajir” for businesses, and “Bahrain” for visitors.  Some applications, such as eKey 2.0, will remain as supporting tools due to their specific functions. Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued a circular regarding the official working hours during the holy month of Ramadan. According to the circular, the official work hours of the Kingdom’s ministries, authorities and public institutions will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout the holy month.

Manama :  His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (10) of 2025 appointing a coordinator at the Prime Minister’s Office, based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and following the Cabinet’s approval. According to the decree, Dr. Zakaria Ahmed Al Khaja shall be appointed as Coordinator at the Prime Minister’s Office with the rank of Undersecretary. The Prime Minister shall implement this decree, which takes effect upon issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
