Washington : U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday named Elon Musk to a role aimed at creating a more efficient government. Musk and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will co-lead a newly created Department of Government Efficiency. Manama : The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) announced the implementation of 1,481 inspection campaigns and visits, during the period of 3 to 9 November 2024, which resulted in the detention of 30 violating and irregular workers, while 257 violators were deported. The inspection campaigns and visits also resulted in monitoring several violations related to the provisions of several regulating laws, especially the LMRA and the Residency Laws in the Kingdom, noting that legal measures were taken regarding the observed violations.
