Rome : Representatives from nearly 200 countries reached an agreement on a multi-year financing plan to protect nature and biodiversity during the 16th United Nations Biodiversity Conference (COP16) in Rome. Beijing : China’s National Meteorological Centre has renewed a yellow alert for a cold wave, forecasting a significant drop in temperatures across most of the country in the coming days. The centre reported that temperatures in central and eastern China, as well as the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, are expected to fall by 6 to 10 degrees Celsius from Saturday to Tuesday.
