Manama : The Royal Court has announced that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of the current Arab Summit, will be heading tomorrow to the Arab Republic of Egypt.  HM the King will be leading the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the Emergency Arab Summit, which will discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian cause. HM King Hamad will also chair the summit’s proceedings, at the invitation of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Rome : Representatives from nearly 200 countries reached an agreement on a multi-year financing plan to protect nature and biodiversity during the 16th United Nations Biodiversity Conference (COP16) in Rome. The agreement was reached on Thursday evening after months of negotiations, following the initial COP16 meeting in Cali, Colombia, which ended without consensus due to disputes over funding mechanisms and the implementation of previous commitments. Beijing : China’s National Meteorological Centre has renewed a yellow alert for a cold wave, forecasting a significant drop in temperatures across most of the country in the coming days. The centre reported that temperatures in central and eastern China, as well as the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, are expected to fall by 6 to 10 degrees Celsius from Saturday to Tuesday.
