Geneva :: The European Region recorded the highest number of measles cases since 1997, with approximately 127,350 cases reported in 2024—more than double the number recorded in 2023—according to a joint report by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Mexico City : Eleven people died and at least 12 were injured in southern Mexico on Monday morning after the bus transporting them flipped over, authorities in the state of Oaxaca said. Manama : The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) announced the implementation of 1,177 inspection campaigns and visits, from March 2-8, which resulted in the detention of 15 violating and irregular workers, while 71 violators were deported.
