Amman : His Majesty King Abdullah II received Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. The meeting, attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, covered the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Qatar, as well as means to enhance cooperation across various sectors, particularly through the Jordanian-Qatari Joint Higher Committee. Discussions also focused on regional developments, and the importance of maintaining coordination in the service of mutual interests, and to ensure respect for the sovereignty of Arab states and achieve stability in the region.
Kuwait : Abdullah Al Yahya, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, held a telephone call with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia. According to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and efforts to strengthen and develop them across various sectors, in addition to following up on regional and international developments of mutual interest.

Manama : Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, issued Edict (3) of 2026, designating the minister accountable to the legislative authority of the National Council for Arts, following the approval of the Cabinet.Article (I)The Minister of Information shall be the minister responsible before the legislative authority, in both chambers, for the National Council for Arts.Article (II)The Minister of Information and the concerned authorities, each within their capacity, shall implement this edict.
