Saudi Arabia has reported 2,235 new coronavirus infections during the past 24 hours, raising the total to 74,795, according to the health ministry. Ministry also reported 2,148 recoveries on Monday, taking the overall number of recovered cases to 45,668. Japan has lifted a state of emergency imposed due to the coronavirus in 39 out of 47 prefectures, after a sharp fall in new infections.
