Manama : On behalf of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa today attended the annual 2023 awards ceremony for the rescue teams organised by the Royal Life Saving Bahrain (RLSB).
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman highlighted the essential role of the Kingdom’s first response rescue teams in protecting the lives of beachgoers and water sports enthusiasts.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman noted the RLSB’s ongoing efforts in upholding best safety practices to prevent accidents and injuries during watersports, strengthen safety procedures, and raise awareness on the protection of individuals.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman noted HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman’s commitment to supporting the RLSB, commending the efforts of the RLSB’s personnel and volunteers in protecting lives and ensuring the safety of watersports participants.
During the ceremony, the Chairperson and Founder of the RLSB, Her Highness Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa delivered an address where she expressed her gratitude to HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman for his patronage of the 2023 Rescue Teams ceremony.
HH Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad also expressed her thanks to HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman for attending the ceremony on behalf of HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman.
HH Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad highlighted the accomplishments of the rescue teams and volunteers that have been achieved through their dedicated efforts to ensure the safety of all beachgoers across the Kingdom of Bahrain. In this regard, HH Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad affirmed that spreading awareness about the safety of beach visitors is a shared responsibility.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman, deputy patron of the ceremony, presented the RLSB team with honourary shields for their dedication and for protecting the lives of beachgoers across the six beaches in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
