Manama : His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, received General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the State of Kuwait.

The visit reflects the longstanding ties and close historical relations between the two countries and their shared commitment to strengthening security and stability.
The Interior Minister conveyed to His Highness the Crown Prince the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah underscored Bahrain’s pride in its close and longstanding relations with Kuwait, emphasising Bahrain’s support for all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its security and stability.
During the visit, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah also had a meeting with Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait.
Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah reiterated Kuwait’s support for the security measures undertaken by Bahrain to preserve its security and reinforce stability.
He also stressed Kuwait’s solidarity with Bahrain in confronting anything that threatens its security and stability, citing the deeply rooted and longstanding ties between the two countries and peoples.
For his part, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah expressed pride in the level of security cooperation and coordination between the two countries within the framework of joint efforts to address security challenges and regional developments.

The talks discussed means of strengthening security cooperation and the latest regional and international developments in support of security, stability, and joint Gulf security cooperation.
Both sides underscored the importance of continuing security coordination, cooperation, and the exchange of expertise and information between the two interior ministries. They also commended the advanced level of bilateral relations and the close cooperation across various security domains.
They stressed the importance of unifying efforts and strengthening Gulf security partnerships to address current challenges, reaffirming the commitment of both countries to supporting initiatives that reinforce security and stability and advance shared interests in line with the aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of the two countries for greater cooperation and integration.
General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah arrived in Kuwait earlier on Sunday, where he was received by Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait.
