King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has provided a variety of medical services to 308 Yemeni people who lost limbs during July at the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center, located in the Seiyun district of Hadramout governorate.
Throughout the project, 1,167 services were provided. Among the beneficiaries, 65% were males and 35% were females, while displaced individuals made up 15% and residents accounted for 85%.
The center measured, manufactured, fitted, delivered, and maintained artificial limbs and prosthetics for 67 patients. Additionally, 241 patients benefited from physiotherapy services, which included physiotherapy sessions and specialized consultations, SPA reported.
This humanitarian service is an extension of Saudi Arabia’s continuous efforts, represented by KSrelief, to enhance the health sector in Yemen.
