Mina : The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stated that awareness and guidance programmes continue at pilgrims’ camps in Mina during the Days of Tashreeq as part of its Hajj 1447 AH plan aimed at educating pilgrims on Hajj rituals and enhancing religious awareness.
More than 322 preachers are delivering guidance talks, lessons, and lectures, answering pilgrims’ inquiries, and educating them on Hajj rituals in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah.
The ministry said the total number of participants in Islamic awareness programmes during the Hajj season has reached 1,822 preachers, who are carrying out awareness and guidance activities in pilgrims’ camps, mosques in the holy sites, and Makkah, in addition to participating in awareness booths and the unified toll-free hotline service.
More than 220 translators are also participating in translation and religious awareness activities in over 40 languages to ensure guidance messages reach pilgrims of different nationalities and languages.
The programmes also include broadcasting guidance messages through electronic screens, implementing awareness activities at Al Khayf Mosque, and providing an electronic library containing educational and guidance content in several languages.
The ministry noted that the total number of awareness and guidance activities implemented during the Hajj season exceeds 160,000 activities, including lectures, lessons, awareness messages, and guidance services provided to pilgrims in the holy sites and Makkah.
