Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (44) of 2026 designating the competent authority pursuant to Decree-Law (35) of 2025 on approving the Unified System (Law) for International Land Transport between the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
The decree stipulates that the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications shall be the competent authority pursuant to Article (II) of Decree-Law (35) of 2025.
The Prime Minister and the ministers, each in their respective capacity, shall implement the provisions of this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
