Manama : The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) issued its 2025 annual report, outlining its programmes and achievements in humanitarian work, orphan and widow care, and community empowerment across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Ibrahim Delhan Al Doseri, Acting Assistant Secretary-General of RHF, said the outcomes reflect the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Foundation, and the continued support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also highlighted the guidance of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of RHF, noting that initiatives are aligned with a strategy focused on investing in people and enhancing their quality of life.

The report stated that the number of sponsored orphans and widows reached 10,857 beneficiaries in 2025, bringing the total number of beneficiaries since the Foundation’s establishment to 31,794. RHF also distributed 2,458 school bags and implemented 180 programmes and events benefiting 6,878 participants, while 76 students received scholarships and academic grants.

In family counselling, RHF delivered specialised programmes benefiting 490 individuals. A total of 4,480 beneficiaries received humanitarian assistance, including living, medical, marriage, debt relief, and educational support.
In the healthcare field, RHF provided 86 insulin pumps for children and carried out 16 cochlear implant surgeries, in addition to offering integrated medical services benefiting hundreds of individuals.

On economic empowerment, the Natij Khair Bahrain Centre produced 2,765 products and implemented 25 training programmes benefiting 397 participants. The centre also prepared more than 20,450 Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan, reflecting support for productive families and economic participation.
The report also highlighted RHF’s institutional performance, including achieving the Gold Category classification under the Government Service Centres Evaluation Programme and receiving several local and international awards. It noted the expansion of community engagement through 55 partnerships with various entities.

RHF also continued its humanitarian relief efforts outside Bahrain, including delivering aid to affected areas, particularly the Gaza Strip, and expanded its media outreach through awareness initiatives and programmes highlighting humanitarian work.

The Foundation continues to develop its programmes and services in line with national priorities and to support different segments of society.
