Manama : Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, received Vinod Kurian Jacob, outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the longstanding relations between Bahrain and India and the continued development and growth of economic and trade relations, reflecting the mutual interest in expanding investment partnerships between the two countries.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla commended the significant contributions of the Indian community and its active role in supporting various development sectors. He also expressed appreciation for the Ambassador’s efforts throughout his tenure to enhance bilateral cooperation and wished him success in his future duties and responsibilities.
The meeting included an exchange of views on issues of common interest and a review of key regional and international developments.
For his part, Ambassador Jacob expressed appreciation to the Deputy Prime Minister for the warm reception and for the continued support he received from various entities throughout his tenure in Bahrain, which contributed to facilitating his duties and enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
